Wendell Woody Pathfinder Awards
The Wendell Woody Pathfinder award was established in 1997 to recognize an elite group of telecommunications industry professionals who actively participated for at least 20 years and significantly impacted the industry during that time.
New members must be nominated by a Pathfinder from a different company and be endorsed by a Pathfinder not associated with their company.

Dale Fox
Endeavour CA
Dale Fox is the Principal of Endeavour CA, LLC, providing industry insights, operational leadership and business strategies to telecommunications companies. Dale is a dedicated advocate for the telecommunications industry, having served as a board member for the Kansas and Missouri Cable Telecommunications Associations, a Founding Director for KC Digital Drive, a non-profit focused on closing the digital divide, and on the Board of Directors for the Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association (MACTA) for twelve years..
Dale has endeavored to make a difference not only for his employers but also for his colleagues, customers and the communities he served. He began his career with Apple Computer building distribution channels for the Apple // and Macintosh. He transitioned to the cellular industry very early on as part of a startup that patented cellular mobile data transmission. When broadband was in its early stages, Dale deployed the first DSL networks in rural markets and launched the initial markets for cable VoIP services. He oversaw the first cable MVNO product launch with Sprint. Most recently, Dale consulted on acquisitions and operational initiatives for Vyve Broadband, Charter, Comcast and Google Fiber.. In his career, he has held senior leadership roles, including Director at Comcast, Vice President at Time Warner Cable, Region Vice President at CenturyLink and Vice President at Ameritech Mobile Communications. Dale is a graduate of The University of Michigan and DePaul University. Dale and Maria, his wife of 39 years, and their two daughters reside in Kansas City.
Brian Jones
NCTC
Brian Jones is a seasoned professional with over 32 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Vice President of Operations at the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC). He joined NCTC in 1992 after earning a degree in Accounting from Baker University. Throughout his career, Brian has guided the organization through numerous industry transitions, including helping companies expand their channel offerings in the early days of video and navigate the evolving contractual landscape. He has also played a key role in helping members integrate internet, voice, and mobile services into their product portfolios.
Known as the "glue" that holds NCTC together, Brian is deeply respected by staff, vendors, and members for his can-do attitude, exceptional people skills, and problem-solving abilities. Over the years, he has taken on various roles, always focused on helping member companies achieve their goals. His dedication to the organization and its members has made him an invaluable asset. Brian's strong relationships and commitment to going the extra mile to find solutions have solidified his reputation as a trusted leader in the telecommunications industry.
